You know what you want to say but can't find just the right words. Let a former newspaper editor help you express your thoughts and make your writing "sing." I retired after 42 years editing newspapers and teaching journalism, and am now a freelance writer and book editor. I am a writer's editor who has edited books for first-time writers and scholarly publications; papers for students and job applicants; you name it, I've done it. I am a careful, thoughtful, nitpicking editor who prides himself on making the document I'm working on the best it can be. I like to work closely with authors. I try not to rewrite but to improve, not to over-edit but to hone the author's words. I'm speedy without being hasty, computer literate, and I never miss a deadline. The 25-plus books I've worked on in the past ten years attest to my abilities. I also edit college dissertations and theses, resumes, letters, brochures, school reports, fiction and nonfiction, poetry, children's books, history . . . you name it, I probably can do it. If you need something ghostwritten, I can do that, too. My years of experience can be put to good use on your project. I hope I can edit or write for you. My rates are reasonable and I can work by the hour, by the page or by the job. And my time is my own so you can get the work done quickly. Try me; I think you'll be pleased with the result. The dozens of people I have edited for can attest that I am accurate, speedy, and dependable.
