I have 30 years of experience in writing, editing and proof-reading. With Book Printing as my field of experience, I have been editing manuscripts and subsequently correcting the proofs, before the jobs were sent to the press. I have had supervisory experience in prepress work too, with personal input in book design. A large variety of books ranging from travelogues, college texts, history to technical manuals. I have experience in the work from the days before computers came into wide usage, when all the work was done on hard copy to recent times when all the work is done on computers. I also am a Graphic Designer, and have gradually acquired proficiency in computers. I can and do use on a regular basis software such as MSWord, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Pagemaker, Adobe Indesign, Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Flash and Macromedia Dreamweaver.
