Project 4351: I'm very satisfied and appreciative of the thorough and very professional editing. I have published three books and I'm currently working on another, other than the one I submitted to you. So, I will eventually send you another manuscript, and will recommend other authors who I know to you.

I offer expert editing, rewriting, ghost writing, or creation of material from scratch. I have expertise in journalism, business writing (reports, requirements documents, marketing documents, and print and online help documentation), website content, writing and editing of book-length manuscripts, stage plays, learning modules, self-help materials, fiction, historical and sociological non-fiction, and odd projects that pretty much defy classification.
I have served as editor of two small newspapers, and was associate editor of a small publishing house. These were not the kind of job where you tell people to get things done: they required hands-on work and the ability to multi-task.
The largest project I have successfully produced was the script for an audio production of the entire Bible (Old and New Testaments). A stellar cast including stars like Denzel Washington and Angela Bassett performed the script, and the resulting product won Audio Book of the Year in 2007.
The key to good writing and editing is helping the text get out of the way: the author's ideas should be available so clearly and in such a compelling way to the reader or listener that he or she does not even think about the verbiage and grammar in which the ideas were presented. I can help the presentation of your material live up to the high quality of the ideas you want to convey.
For fiction, screenplays, and stage plays, we want to provide what John Gardner called the "vivid, continuous dream", so that the reader or viewer can slip into the story and move through it without inelegant disruptions that disengage the reader abruptly and make him or her withhold trust in the storyteller. I can help you build that trust relationship with your audience.
