Profile
Currently employed as a pilot for a major airline, I desire to supplement my income while away from home. I possess a Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Technology from Utah State University.
While going to school, I worked as a proofreader in a study hall for college students. There I edited a wide variety of documents from research papers to resumes. This experience helped me develop the ability to find inconspicuous errors in various form of documentation. I have also taught several classes in the aviation field. These courses range from classroom-based curriculum to teaching students how to fly aircraft in the field. My work experience also includes writing a training manual during my time as an intern in a corporate flight department.
In addition, I have experience abroad. I lived in Mexico for two years as a missionary. During that time I was able to become fluent in the Spanish language and learn how to live in another culture. This experience has given me the opportunity to serve as a translator for an elementary school and other miscellaneous translating opportunities.
My other experience includes Microsoft Word processing and Microsoft Excel data entry/database creation. I have a passion for detail and organization. I strive to give my best in all I do. I hope the experience I have described is what you are looking for in a proofreader.
