| Profile | I am an excellent proofreader with a broad knowledge base. I have a rare ability for English grammar and spelling. I really can't name one person who is more advanced in English grammar and spelling than I am, and that is after 20+ years as a college/university student and instructor.
I earned a BA degree in Communications-Writing at Moody Bible Institute, Chicago. I was planning to be an English teacher, but while taking GE classes, an interest in mathematics developed, and I went on to earn a BS (Cal State University, Bakersfield) and an MS (Cal State University, Long Beach) in Mathematics. Having done all the work for an MA in Philosophy from CSULB, I'm just waiting for graduation day in December, 2008. I believe a Ph.D. in Philosophy of Math is in my future. I have knowledge in several disciplines. I have taught World History, Ancient Greek, Bible, Art History, basic science, and English Grammar and Lit, in addition to countless math classes, ranging from Arithmetic to Calculus to Statistics.
I have written for several publications on topics such as health, news, music, and sports (baseball, basketball, volleyball, softball, kick-boxing, etc.) Beyond my primary and secondary experience as an editor, I worked as a proofreader for Black Dot Graphics in Crystal Lake, Illinois.
Having returned to my native Southern California, I enjoy teaching and learning, as well as my wife, son, and two cats.
