Words are my thing. I learned to read at a very young age, won numerous writing awards throughout my childhood, and made a perfect score on the AP English test. In college, my professors read my essays out loud to my classes as an example of what an essay should be. Everywhere I go, I see signs with grammatical mistakes and articles with content errors.
Although I majored in Psychology and minored in History and Education, I realized my true calling when I became a high school English teacher who specializes in writing and literature. My current teaching position involves preparing high school students for the state writing test. I edit countless essays each week for content and grammar, and I actually enjoy it! Many of my students are English Language Learners (ELL), so I have much experience dealing with students whose first language is not English. I can edit anything!
Some people can sing. Some people can dance. Some people can paint. I can't do any of that, but I can edit and proofread!
