I am a journalist trained in different writing disciplines since my early childhood years. Since I was ten years old, I have been participating in writing contests and seminars, and was made editor-in-chief for the school paper by twelve.
As I grew older, I then chose to write as a personal hobby. This way, I had more freedom in expressing thoughts and ideas, and in choosing topics to write about. I wrote essays, short stories and concept papers on subjects that interest me.
I was able to develop a writing style unconstrained by journalism requirements, a style that was exceptionally my own. I have gained a defined identity as a writer, an identity that is flexible yet concrete. And now I can say that I am again ready to write for client requirements while also writing for myself on the side.
When writing for other people, I understand that there may be certain preferences when it comes to voice and tone of the article. I also keep in mind the nature in which the article will be used, whether it is formal, contemporary, etc. and do my best to write in accordance to such requirements.
I also know that a single statement could mean two entirely different things. So, I might sometimes ask you to tell me exactly what you want to say in order for me to be able to rephrase your thoughts more accurately. Finally, I am an obsessive-compulsive editor, so rest assured that no errors will ever get through.
