I minored in English in college, and took many writing classes including Creative Writing, Advanced Expository Writing, and Advanced Grammar. I received A's on most papers in those classes, and glowing evaluations from all my professors--one of my writing professors actually asked for a copy of one of my essays to be used as an example in future classes. Many people on campus often came to me for help in proofreading and editing their papers, and were always very happy with the grades they received from their professors.
As a teenager, I was very interested in writing and would often write stories and articles which I would submit to magazines. I wrote a book-length story at the age of 13 years old. I eventually did get a story published in a magazine when I was about 15 years old, which was a huge accomplishment for me.
I also do a great deal of writing on my personal blog, which is read faithfully by my friends and family. I enjoy writing humorous articles about real-life events and my personal experiences. Growing up in England, I have a great deal of interesting stories and anecdotes which makes my writing more rich.
My boss at my current job has recently asked me to assist him in re-writing and editing the Procedure Manual.
I currently write for www.associatedcontent.com and have had numerous articles published by them for monetary reward.
