I have created and revised professional behavior assessments and progress reports for 11 years for individuals with disabilities, including autism, Asperger's syndrome, cerebral palsy, mental retardation, schizophrenia, and Down syndrome. I currently write behavior assessments and progress reports for both children and adults with disabilities. I have also been proofreading and editing reports written by colleagues for 5 years.
I am well-versed in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. I also have the skill of learning new software programs quickly and independently.
I have just completed my thesis project as part of a Master of Science degree in behavior analysis at the California State University, Los Angeles. I wrote my thesis project using the American Psychological Association Publication Manual as a guide.
I have impeccable proofreading skills and received "A" grades in college English courses at UCLA. I read Elements of Style for one of these courses, and I know its content fluently.
When in high school, I gained journalism experience as the Features Editor for one year for the school newspaper, the Agoura Charger. I reviewed and edited all articles for the Features section of the monthly paper.
