I hold a Bachelor's Degree in English from UNC-Greensboro, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude. While studying there, I was a member of Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honors Society. My main areas of study included Shakespeare and Renaissance theater, 19th and 20th century American literature, feminist criticism, and creative and technical writing. I have also worked as a tutor in both English and Mathematics.
One of my favorite experiences at UNCG was participating in the undergraduate creative writing workshop, where I helped many of my fellow students edit their work, ranging from short stories to excerpts from novels. As an undergraduate, I was able to also attend several graduate seminars with published authors, including Craig Nova and John Irving.
Trying to find an editor can be daunting, but I hope to make the process as easy and painless as possible. I will take on any task that would appreciate friendly criticism, whether it’s a five hundred page novel from an aspiring author or a five page paper from a high school student.
