I offer editing for a variety of texts and documents. As a student of history, currently working on my PhD, I have experience reading historical, anthropological and sociological works. I am also familiar with various types of literature, but specialize in fantasy and science fiction, as well as ancient literary works. As I have spent six years writing and reading scholarly papers, I feel I am well suited to be your editor. I am familiar with various citation styles including Chicago, MLA and APA. I have experience grading and examining papers for grammar and style at the college level. I am also constantly immersed in scholarly writing, whether it is in journal articles or books. I have participated in peer seminars where graduate students edit and proofread original scholarly works. We also examined published books in the fields noted above, identifying content, thesis, argument and consistency.
As a writer, I strive to create scholarly works that are both original and poignant, as well as well constructed and easy to read. As such, I believe I can offer editing and proofreading services for a variety of publications. I also have ten years of customer service experience in the hospitality industry and am well versed in the language of marketing, public relations and correspondence with a variety of customers and vendors.
