I am from Victoria, BC, Canada. Writing has always been both my passion and strength. My aptitude and zeal for English has found me writing, editing and proofreading creative, marketing, sales and technical English for fourteen years.
My professional writing began at Applause, a public relations firm in Toronto in 1991. Since then, I have been writing both for personal and professional reasons. I tailor my writing to suit the project. Certain work calls for flowery language and other projects require brevity. I can write/edit/proofread in kind with the task at hand. I have written copy for commercial and non-profit organizations. The 2003 Canadian National Magazine Awards granted me an honorable mention for an article I did for Skier Magazine. I was short listed for a 2004 Writer’s Union of Canada Children’s Story competition. I am currently working as a freelance writer and editor. I am also working on an experimental novel.
