My print experience is primarily in marketing copy and design. I have written and designed for mass-mail postcards, flyers, business letters, press releases, tradeshow displays and materials and media kits. With a master's degree, I am also comfortable with academic writing and editing. I'm familiar with MLA, APA and AP styles, though I have also worked with Chicago style. I'm a quick learner so I can easily adapt to other styles as necessary.
Web copywriting is something I'm particularly fond of. I especially like short, powerful copy-- blog posts, product descriptions (including re-writes), site reviews and the like. I worked as a web editor for a state tourism website with traffic upwards of 11 million visitors annually, so I'm quite comfortable with writing and editing for the web. I can also do SEO work.
