I earned a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Florida, focusing on Creative Writing. Poetry composition classes have taught me to be detail-oriented and precise. I am a native English speaker. Most recently, I worked as the managing editor at Florida Media, Inc., where I was responsible for the editing, writing and general production of several publications.

I am young and ready to work! When I received my English degree from the University of Florida, my desire was to enter the publishing world, so I could put my editing skills to good use. I love writing as well, and I completed 12 hours of coursework in poetry classes taught by such poets as William Logan and Debra Gregor. Poetry classes taught me to choose words, word order, and punctuation very carefully, as even one hyphen can completely change a sentence's meaning. I bring the same level of diligence to every project, whether a client's assignment or one of my own poems.

- Worked as managing editor for Florida Media, Inc. where I was in charge of writing, editing and proofreading articles for Florida Monthly Magazine, and Real Florida Magazine (official magazine for Florida's State Parks System).
- Interned during university vacations for 1 year at Harcourt School Publishers in Orlando, FL.
