Profile If you need help with grammar, essays, business letters, business reports, academic papers, grant writing, poetry, or fiction writing, I have over 20 years of experience teaching and editing student papers in all of these areas. In addition, I have worked as a free-lance editor and writer for several nonprofit agencies and for fundraising campaign companies, writing informational brochures, analysis reports, and grant proposals.

My background includes a bachelor's degree in English, a master's degree in literature, focusing on early twentieth century British literature. In addition, I have 26 graduate hours in education. Of my 23 years of editing experience with students, about 10 of those have been with college level students, with emphasis in both literary and academic essay writing.

As an editor, I'm fast and like words to get right to the point, although if you want to improve your style, I'm happy to rewrite sentences to obtain rhythm and flow that enhances your writing's content. If you can state clearly what you want to accomplish, I can help you get there. If you just want to make sure you haven't missed any puntuation or other mechanical errors, things can get finished even more quickly.

I like to use Microsoft Tracking Changes to show corrections and to make comments on papers. It's easy to use, and I'll be glad to explain how it works. The feature is included within Microsoft Word.
