I have experience copy editing and proofreading for a daily newspaper, and I also have over 4 years of journalism writing, and writing press releases, web content, emails, articles, flyers, and brochures.
In addition to my bachelor's degree in English Literature and Creative Writing, I also spend a lot of time gathering experience in college. I wrote for the daily campus newspaper for 3 years as an opinion columnist, copy editor, and campus desk writer. I also was an editor for the English department's annual literary magazine. I edited and chose submissions for the fiction portion of the magazine. I also worked as a Marketing Coordinator for a state-wide wildlife non-profit, where I created fundraising and informative materials.
After college, I got a full-time job as a Marketing Coordinator for a business seminar company, where I edit and write brochures, product content, emails, catalogs, and several other marketing materials. I am now a Search Marketing Specialist for a Marketing Agency, where I specialize in internet marketing.
In addition to this, I'm also a freelance writer, writing articles, web content, and blogs. My growing list of clients helps me continue building experience as an editor and writer.
