I am a recent college graduate with a concentration in publishing. During my college career I worked at Conde Nast Publications where I interned in the editorial department. There I wrote a few pieces of their website about family travel. I was also able to research and report on family friendly places to my supervisor. I was also the Editor-in-Chief of my school's newspaper. As Editor-in-Chief, I edited several drafts and did final proofreads before the issue was printed. Working with my staff, we created potential topics for the writer's and helped them create stronger pieces. It taught me how to meet deadlines and manage my time more efficiently. I graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a member of the Creative Writing Club. Since graduation, I have freelanced for a local New York City magazine as a copy editor. That magazine has since folded. I also wrote website content, invitations, and press releases for smaller designers in the New York area. I am willing to edit anything for simple grammar and punctuation. I have more experience with fashion, travel, and lifestyle topics if need be. Or I can also just help out with a simple college paper as I have had to write several of those for the past four years. I can edit longer pieces if need be. I do not have a limit on length. I look forward to working with you all!
