Experienced and highly skilled communication & documentation specialist desires to make your life easier by handling your most tedious communication tasks such as writing, proofreading, and editing texts.
Even as a young child, I was fascinated by letters, how they formed words, and the complexity of the English language. Thus, I ultimately gained a Master's Degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Professional Writing and set out to fulfill my dream.
The education and training I have received has allowed me to build skills in a variety of areas within my field of expertise such as editing, publishing, technical writing, writing in the public interest, professional/business writing, research writing, feature/journalistic writing, publicity and public relations, instructional writing, grant/proposal writing, and writing for the web.
Additionally, I have worked as a freelance writer for the past seven years which has offered me the opportunity to sharpen my skills in a variety of commercial and nonprofit genres.
Finally, I am a member of the Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society, the winner of the 2001 Geneva College Writing Award, a member of the Society of Technical Communication, a member of the Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce and was the editor-in-chief of a college literary magazine, "Togged to the Bricks" in 1999.
I look forward to the opportunity of helping you with your documentation needs!
