Having worked in many fields of journalism (print, PR and media relations, web, customer service, hard and soft news, writing, reporting and editing), I am the right person to edit almost any type of document. I have been editor of a paper myself (Georgia State University's Urbanite), have fact-checked for a major magazine (Atlanta Magazine) and written press releases and produced the newsletter for the Atlanta Press Club. I am apt at research, scanning for mistakes, finding and correcting errors, using Associated Press style, clarifying confusing pieces and helping the writer create a solid piece to engage and inform any reader. I’ve worked with many different writers, on subjects ranging from identity fraud to restoring a gutted historical loft. At the Atlanta Press Club I also worked on the script for the Annual Banquet, featuring Ted Turner and other CNN heroes, as well as coordinating the audio and visual section of the evening.
