Editing isn't just a job for me, it's a passion! With an English/Creative Writing degree with a specialization in editing from Creighton University, the Midwest's top-ranking college, and an eye for detail that made Where's Waldo boring as a child, I'm looking for editing and proofreading jobs like yours! I have experience editing both scholarly articles (for the Bryan LGH College of Health Sciences) and fiction (fanfiction.net and mediaminer). No job is too small or unimportant, and I will take a job regardless of the author's skill level. I will also edit your work however you like, from a light proofreading to make sure you haven't missed any mistakes, to an in-depth consultation on flow, plot, structure, sentence use, etc. I most enjoy working on fiction, particularly fantasy and sci-fi genres, and may take jobs at lower rates in these areas. However, I find editing a good scholarly piece refreshing and challenging, and no level of vocabulary is too difficult--the dictionary is my best friend! I have experience working in MLA and APA formats, but am more than willing to learn whatever format you wish to use. If you think your work isn't the sort of thing I'm looking for, you might be surprised! I'm open to suggestions, and find new editing experiences rewarding and fun.
