I just recently graduated from college, and proofread and edited papers for my colleagues during my college career. I have proofread between 50 and 100 papers of university level writing. During my college career, I studied a wide array of subject matter, including history, sociology, social work, psychology, and other liberal arts areas. I have been assisting another editor for approximately a month in jobs that have been paid positions.
At this moment, I do not have any other jobs, and am looking for work in order to hold me over until I begin a job. My editing will be prompt and accurate. I am very meticulous and thorough with my editing, and have helped college students increase their grades that had been hindered by the poor writing skills that they possessed. I often worked one on one with those I edited for in order to assist those students in understanding what their writing errors were and how they could prevent them in the future. On average, the students which I worked with increased approximately one half of a letter grade on their papers due to their corrected writing skills.
