I am a medical writer with 2+ years' experience as a writer and 9+ years' experience as a biostatistician working for a large pharmaceutical company; my responsibilities were in reporting results of clinical trials for all phases of research and development. I worked on many programs and studies that were submitted to the FDA and on many clinical study reports (CSR); among the therapeutic areas I have experience with are central nervous system (CNS) diseases, including epilepsy and fibromyalgia, and Cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, including diabetes. I have experience with nearly all aspects of clinical research and reporting, including Outcomes Research and SAS programming.
In addition to my experience in pharmaceutical research, I received my Masters' degree while working at a large automotive company, and studied a wide range of social sciences during my undergraduate education.
I am very comfortable working with all manner of statistics, tables, and figures, and well-versed in project management and multi-tasking. Finally, I have a great eye for detail and spelling and have been a thorough and valued proofreader and editor for colleagues for as long as I can remember.
