Profile	Experience counts. I offer over 23 years of experience in all facets of writing from content development and writing to editing, researching and proofreading. I have been a freelance writer and editor since 1988. I have been a writing coach/instructor since 2002 and have worked with individuals to help them polish and prepare their book-length manuscripts (fiction and nonfiction) for publication. From time to time I also teach writing workshops/classes to help people improve their writing skills so they can learn how to communicate more effectively. I also offer clients experience as a writing tutor having worked at the Writing Center at the Community College of Denver from January 2004 through December 2005. In that capacity, I helped students improve their composition and writing skills and learn how to craft college essays. Students ranged in age from young adults to older adults who had enrolled in school later in life. English was the second language for many of these students. In addition to my experience as a commercial writer I am also a creative writer and the award-winning author of three published novels and one published book-length memoir. Many of my short stories, creative nonfiction/memoir pieces and poems have been published in a variety of journals and anthologies. I offer superior client/customer service skills as well as the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines on time and within budget.
