I graduated from UCDavis after only 2 1/2 years with a degree in economics and history and a GPA above 3.0. I took many classes in English, journalism, and business letter writing. I now work in a business environment and my manager has told me that my letter writing skills are better than those of people who have worked at my company for years. I have been complemented on my essay and letter writing skills by many. In journalism classes, the articles I wrote often received praise from my professors and fellow students. Over the years, I have had many of my own webpages that I have edited and updated. I do not have formal editing job experience, but I for years I have edited the essays of fellow co-workers, students and students of my own. I'm their "go to" person when it comes to making sure their papers are written properly!
