I am an Oberlin College graduate with two degrees: a BA in French and a BM in Vocal Performance. I have had much training in a variety of languages, including French, German, and Italian, and I am very sensitive to grammatical errors, sentence structure, and other aspects of writing that could greatly improve the professionalism of you project! My studies in these languages involved the writing of extensive papers of my own, which I then edited many times over before presenting a finished product, along with editing and evaluating the writings of my peers.
I have also had two years of experience working in the Circulation Department of a Library. This has given me a broader base of knowledge from which I may draw, and has heightened my sensitivity to form and content in writings.
My other experience in editing is in music. I often translate my own music, if it is being sung in a language other than English, so that others may read the text while it is being sung.
I love tweaking writing to make it clear, concise, and easily understood. I also have many varied reading interests, which have given me exposure to many fields and subjects. I would love to make your next writing project a success!
