Profile	I have a degree in English and writing from Southern Oregon University in Ashland. I was often the person to whom my roommates would come when they wanted me to read through a paper that was due. After college, I worked briefly as an assistant proofreader at Musician's Friend catalog in Medford, and would have continued working there had I not decided to move back to Alaska. I was, in fact, invited to keep working there, should I ever return to the area. I have since worked at a radio station in Alaska, where a large part of my job was writing scripts and proofreading and editing various documents like advertising fliers and letters to business associates. I recently moved back to Oregon (the northern part, this time) and very much miss my job in Alaska. However, I do still work a little bit for my old boss at the station, via the wonders of the internet, writing and assembling scripts for a kids program, writing copy for ads, and creating informative postcards and fliers using Publisher. I enjoyed my job at Musician's Friend very much and have been thinking about getting back into proofreading for several years now. I lucked out when I fell into that job, and it's difficult finding another with which I am so compatible. It would be nice, I think, to have the chance to work in that field again.
