I am a detail-oriented editor and proofreader of scientific works of all kinds. I received a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, and worked in engineered sales for five years. I was required to describe, present, and sell technical equipment in a broad range of industrial fields. These presentations required clear and concise descriptions of complex engineering equipment, and incorporated a deep understanding of math, science, pneumatic conveyors, and HVAC design.
I also received an associate's degree in Biology and a Ph.D. in Plant Biological Sciences. As a graduate student and postdoctoral fellow, I have written numerous grant proposals that have led to successful funding and to multiple scientific articles that have been published in peer-reviewed journals focusing on Botany, Taxonomy, Systematics, and Ecology.
