I have had varied roles in several industries and all roles included some aspects of translation from French to English and proof-reading in English.
I have been asked to correct documents which have been written by non-native speakers and EMT speakers alike and improve and develop all kinds of reports, presentations and CVs. I love the English language and the way we use it to get our message across to our clients, colleagues and friends and family. I have studied linguistics in-depth, I have a keen eye for detail, and am known for being a perfectionist in everything I do.
I grew up in England but have now moved to France, the country of my heart.
As well as studying sociology and English, I took modules in Psychology, Business Studies and Law. Distance studying is almost a hobby for me.
I believe that discretion and communication are the keys to every working relationship and, brought up by a home based lawyer and politician, I feel competent in both skills.
Please feel free to send me any type of document, although I have the most experience in contracts, annual reports and film scripts.
