Six years editing experience for a US-based technical consulting company. Duties include the following: content addressing exact client specifications; grammar; correct spelling of company/product names; conforming to company writing and presentation style. Documents that have been edited include Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Word documents average 100 pages in length.
International translation experience from German and Spanish into English, typically based on interview material to be used in reports written in English. In some cases the interview material is already transcribed; in others the transcription and subsequent translation into English has to be done from a sound file (e.g., Transcription Buddy .wav file, PureVoice), first transcribing into German or Spanish and then translating from that document into English.
