I'm a highly literate, intelligent, well-read and grammatically correct law student. I take pride in my knowledge of the English language, and I can also speak and write French. I have earned good grades and a B.A. in economics and African American Studies from Washington University in St. Louis. I am currently enrolled in the law school at said university. I have an unpaid internship for the summer and am looking to make money by working as an editor this summer. I have worked for the Washington University Film and Media Archive in the past proofreading, editing, and transcribing interviews from the Henry Hampton collection, including (but not limited to) "Eyes on the Prize". I am proficient in English, to say the least, and have received several awards in the past for various essays I have written. I would be willing to edit anything in English, but I have technical knowledge in law, economics, chemistry, biology, kinesiology, African American literature, animal husbandry, and music. I am also able to translate from French to English and vice-versa. I would be willing to translate any sort of essay or article, including web-postings. I can read and write quickly and effectively, and I know the difference between their, they're, and there and can spot and correct typos, mistakes, grammatical errors, incomplete sentences, improper usage of subjective, objective, and reflexive pronouns, and understand the difference between transitive and intransitive verbs.
