In addition to detailing my professional experience as a Document Specialist, this page indicates my skills as a meticulous proofreader, imaginative writer and thorough editor.

I’ll help you communicate succinctly and clearly while saving you both time and money in the process. With more than twenty years of office experience in the legal and financial fields, including specializations in Word Processing and User Support, I bring to the table an expert understanding of not only the English language, but its myriad terminology in a professional environment. Particularly utilizing the many capabilities of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, combined with years of legal proofreading experience, I’m able to quickly and concisely express original concepts and efficiently streamline pre-existing text, with creative innovation (leveraging the bottom lines of both the message and the balance sheet) to maximize clarity and impact.
In addition to the professional experience above, I have several (as yet unsold) full-length screenplays on the market and, in the first year of its publication, wrote a humorous political column for INSTINCT magazine, entitled “Same Sh*t, Different Millennium.” A published playwright, my work was produced by Blind Parrot Productions — most notably, "American Gothic" at the Theatre Building in Chicago. My short screenplays “Romancing the Angst,” “Love on the Cusp,” “The Air Swimmer” and “Serendipity” were produced at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in the Department of Film and Television.
Work on my first novel, IMPATIENT WITH THE MICROWAVE, was interrupted by a major heart attack last spring followed by infectious complications only now reaching resolution. As I begin to resume my work on this project, I’ve decided to exclusively seek work-at-home opportunities going forward in order to most efficiently support myself as my strength returns.
