Profile Editing is my passion and I am a stickler for details. Accuracy and consistency are what I strive for to ensure readers focus on the material and not the mistakes.

My editing experience runs the gamut. For two years, I proofread a 50,000-circulation newspaper from cover to cover. Then I spent another year editing hundreds of articles on intractable conflicts. In college, I managed the student newspaper's copy editors and reporters (about 30 people) and was responsible for generating stories, mentoring staff, editing the newspaper and keeping on schedule. Plus, I took an advanced editing class and was hired by my adjunct professor to work as a copy editor. I served as a copy editor for another large daily newspaper for two years, editing stories, writing headlines, checking facts and meeting tight deadlines every night. I was the last person each evening to approve the content and appearance of the newspaper.

I also have experience editing books. I proofread two historical fiction books and am editing a legal book on climate change litigation.

Finally, I am serving as the editor-in-chief of my law school's law review and am responsible for publishing four issues focused on legal scholarship and managing a staff of 60 law students.

I am proficient with the Associated Press Style Guide (used by most daily newspapers), The Bluebook (a legal citation manual), and the Chicago Manual of Style. I can also quickly adapt to any other style guide.
