In prep school I was awarded Academic Excellence in Creative Writing. In college I was elected the Film & Cinema Critic for the Rutgers’ Review. At NYU I did my Masters studies in Philosophy and Literature. I graduated summa cum laude – 5th in my class – with a GPA of 3.95. Early in my career, I worked as an Advertising Liaison for Federated Stores Inc. (responsible for shoots, proofs, and copy). As Chairperson of NJ Assemblyman Garcia’s Committee on Women’s Issues I wrote, proofread and edited many speeches. Later, while living in Switzerland, I became an Executive Assistant to the Managing Director of European Operations of Rentsch AG, a Swiss packaging company for cosmetics and food (major clients: L’Oréal, Beiersdorf, Nestlé, Procter & Gamble, Unilever). I was in charge of co-ordination, notes, summary, and reports regarding all senior management and board meetings. In 2006 I was offered to write a column on Health & Fitness by Les Goodstein, Sr. VP of Murdoch’s News Corporation. Currently, I am also writing a Blog: Modern Marriage/Motherhood DeMystified.
