Through University acquaintance-ship I began editing manuscripts - educational, professional, creative and legal documentation for various professors in Montenegro approximately 10 years ago. These individuals then recommended me to colleagues and so my business grew, of a virtual necessity, from demand.
My client's are mostly Non-Native English speaking English language academics, translators and authors wishing to perfect and polish their original works and/or translations prior to publication. However recently, I started editing medical and legal documents for the French National Transparency Committee. (Though I am an Australian citizen, I currently live in France).
The main quality my clients are most enthusiastic about when offering feedback is how I am capable of making multiple amendments to any one document, without losing even the slightest amount of meaning - and whilst also managing, in many cases, to enhance the impact of said document.
I am equally proficient with documents of both a creative and a professional nature. I pride myself on my ability to adapt my work in order to maintain my clients’ individual and unique 'tone'.
