A good writer or copy editor can be hard to find for technical subjects. However, with ten years of experience as a programmer and software architect, I may be just what you're looking for! I have extensive on-the-job experience writing technical documentation and copy editing technical writing, and I enjoy that kind of work very much.
Because of my particular background as a programmer, I have extensive knowledge of a number of programming languages, including C, C++, Java, Scala, and Ruby, and extensive background in important topics like multithreading and concurrency. Beyond writing or editing I have extensive research experience working as a technical reviewer. I am a careful researcher, and I always double-check my work. Additionally, I even have experience with public speaking, and am especially good at adapting the presentation of difficult technical subjects like concurrency for a variety of audiences, technical or non-technical.
So, if you are in search of a hard-working and competent editor who understands your material, consider hiring me. Remember that writers and editors with my background are very difficult to find. I am prepared to do any kind of editing, from minor editing to complete rewrites, and despite my technical focus I do not limit myself to taking only technical work.
