With a sharp eye for detail and the necessary dedication, I will help you successfully polish your written work into a final document that sparkles in the eyes of its readers. Documents of all formats and styles are welcome here. Please submit them to this worry-free process today and see satisfactory results tomorrow. The process will not be rushed, but timeliness is considered.
I have a passion for both the pleasure of reading the written word and the headaches that go into improving it.
As a child, I wrote short stories to entertain my family and friends. After writing each one, I would often take a colored pen and go back through my stories to “fix” things. I would check my spelling and punctuation, make sure I explained my thoughts fully and chose the right words to describe various actions and feelings. I thought this process was just as much fun as the writing. And so re-writing became my passion.
A wise man once said, “Good writing is essentially re-writing, of this I am certain.” He was right then, and he is right today. If the author could re-read those words today, however, he might be inclined to change them. As a writer, I know this to be true because the words you are reading this very moment were not the original words typed on this page. Some of them are second, third or even fourth round words! And, if I had read them a fifth time, they might have been changed again because any editor knows that a written work is only complete until the next time it’s edited.
If you have a piece of writing that needs a pair of sharp eyes, send it my way today. I would love to take a look and hear your concerns.

Work experience
I currently work on a News-on-Demand Support Team at a software company.
I have been editing since I learned the basic principles of grammar in ninth grade English. Since then, I've worked as both a writer and Editor-in-Chief for my college newspaper for 4 years, as a consultant in the university writing center for 4 years and as a freelance proofreader for almost 6 years.
My peers often ask the question "How do you know this stuff?" and my answer is always the same: "It just makes sense to me."
Writing Tip: Clarity is one part audience, one part purpose and one part gut instinct. Ask yourself, (1) To whom am I writing? (2) Why am I saying it? (3) Does it make sense when I read it?
Computer experience
I am equipped to work on all MS Word documents, including PowerPoint slides and Excel spreadsheets. Feel free to check with me about any formats or types of writing not mentioned here.
