My mother always thought I was overly critical. Well, that's a skill that comes in handy when I'm helping people perfect their writing.
As far as my own writing, I have enjoyed writing articles, poems and songs over the years. I currently am working on a CD of my original songs. I have written several articles for The Southeast Outlook weekly newspaper (circulation 50,000), as well as having two articles published in The Upper Room daily devotional guide (circulation of over 1 million in over 50 countries). In addition, my writing for graduate and undergraduate degrees has been well regarded.
I have loved to write for as long as I can remember and have also enjoyed critiquing the writing of others as I often do now, in addition to my full-time job as an elementary music teacher.
Just today I proofed 52 pages for a co-worker who is submitting papers for her National Board Certification. I proofread other documents for fellow teachers and am in conversation to begin proofing services for Legacy Scrolls, a company which will help people tell their life stories for future generations to enjoy.
I love to craft the writing of others into a more correct, more succinct, more easily readable text. Whatever your topic and whatever the length, I can make it sound and look more professional. Don't look uneducated or careless when you can have excellent proofreading done for a reasonable price!
