I have a BA in English and a BA in Spanish. I am currently working on my Master's in Education and can help with proofreading, editing, grammar usage, punctuation, sentence structure, etc.
I am currently attending Benedictine University in Illinois and working on a Master's degree in Education. In the Summer of 2004 I was a tutor for the Woodridge Resource Center and helped grade school children in the areas of spelling, writing, and reading. I graduated from Illinois State University in May 2005 with a Bachelor's Degree in English and a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish. I enjoy reading and writing. I have read a wide range of literature and enjoy poetry.
At Illinois State University, I worked in the Economics Department and frequently proofread letters, projects, and student work. In the Economics Department I became familiar with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Works. I am very experienced with Microsoft Word and know how to use “track changes.”
Also, I was a reader for ELM, the literary magazine at Eureka College during the Spring 2005 semester. I took a Literary Publishing course and became familiar with publishing as well as copyediting.
During the Fall 2005 semester at ISU, I worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for English 101 – a Freshman composition course. I proofread and edited student’s work and helped the professor teach the course.
Once I graduate from Benedictine with my Masters, I will teach high school English and/or Spanish
