Four levels of copyediting services are available. a) Proofreading - Spelling and grammatical errors, punctuation, tenses, hyphenation, capitalization and other typographical issues, formatting, sentence or paragraph structure to improve style and impact. b) Proofreading plus - In addition to proofreading, detailed attention to language, readability, tables and figures, cross-references, footnotes, references and bibliographies. c) Major surgery - Making the document coherent, consistent and easily readable. d) English as a second language - Finding the right words and expressions for better communication.
An edit report detailing the changes made is standard and completed sections of large documents will be e-mailed to you at agreed intervals.
