Your EditFast Editors' Web page is the Key to Attracting and Contacting Clients
The Editors' Web page is created automatically when you sign up and register
with EditFast. The series of forms you fill in when you first register are used
to collect information about your editing skills and experience. This information
is then placed on your Editors' Web page. You may edit and update this Web
page from the Editors' Resource Area
at any time.
Your editors' Web page is available to all clients who have registered with
EditFast as well as the EditFast Admin and the general public. Your Web page
is available in the EditFast search function so that clients the EditFast Administration,
and the general public can locate potential candidates for new editing projects.
Clients can search using words and phrases of their choice. The EditFast search
application will look for these words and phrases in all Editors' Web pages
and return those profiles that match the search parameters which the client
has entered.
On each Web page there is a "Contact this editor link" which a prospective
client can click to contact that specific editor. The contact link allows the
client to send a message directly to the respective editor via the EditFast
message Center. When the editor receives the New
Project Notification and clicks on the link contained there, they will be
taken to their EMC (Editors'
Message Center) to read the email from the prospective client. Once there
the editor will have the opportunity to reply, send an estimate, negotiate,
and start the project when they reach an agreement with the client.
As you can see the Editors' Web page is a very important part of your EditFast
Web presence. It gives the EditFast Administration a clear description of your
abilities and also gives prospective clients a way to contact you. You should
try to give as much information as possible during the sign up procedure if
you wish to have clients find your page and offer you work.
