Advertising Copyrighting
Advertising copyrighting is a form of legal right communication that generally tries to convince both the regular and irregular clients to buy or use a specified brand of product or service. Most advertisements are made to create a rise in the use of many products and services and be able to sustain or maintain there value. Advertising copyrighting should ensure that the product or service being communicated to the customers or clients are legally protected and are the original products of the specific organization. This will ensure that there will e no other organization advertising the same product, or dubbing it for there own benefit.
This type of advertisements includes various methods of communicating the benefits of the product or service to the potential customers. They include; advertising through, bill boards, internet, cinema, magazines, and newspapers, carrying out road shows, giving out free samples or advertising through TV, radio or in print. Most advertising companies always do not conduct out their own advertising but instead they give it to particular advertising company to do the advertising job on there behalf. There is a law that governs the process of advertising copyrighting. It requires that all the original work or tasks in physical form should be registered and covered by the copyright act before advertising its value to the potential clients or customers.
Advertising Copyrighting can only be successful to materials that can be touched such as books, music C.D.s, poems, movies, novels, magazines and songs among others. They can also include items that are non artistic in nature. For instance, you can find that there are some copyrights that are at times used in advertising things like games, and programs among others.
An advertising copyrighting law is a very crucial law because it states that a copyright must be renewed incase it expires. For example it requires that a copyright of any author or an owner of an advert who dies should be renewed fifty years after his or her death incase he or she dies and his article is still in existence. The law also demands that any person found committing plagiarism or dubbing an already copyrighted work or advert is guilty of an offence hence should be arrested and taken to court.
