Rule 3:
Use objective case to name the receiver of an
action (the object of the verb).
Examples:
The manager agreed to show us the movie at
no cost.
Please introduce him to the group.
I told her to be here at 8:00 this morning.
We can always locate the objective of the verb by saying
the verb and then asking "who?" or "what?"
Example:
Please introduce him to the group."
We can read the verb introduce and ask "who?" The
answer is "him"-so him is the object.
