Rule 9:
When one or
more objects are jointly owned, use the possessive
on only the last owner named.
Examples:
These are Paul and Ramon's books. (Because only
Ramon is possessive, we know that Paul and Ramon
share ownership of the books.)
Let's go to Grandma and Grandpa's house. (The possessive
is formed only on Grandpa, so we know that Grandma
and Grandpa share ownership of the house.)
