Use quotation marks to refer to words used in special senses,
such as when you are speaking about the words themselves or
if you are referring to the words in an ironic or non-literal
way.
• Many people misuse the words "there" and "their."

• In many companies, "restructuring" often means lay
offs. [ironic or non-literal]
Note: Do not use quotation marks to call attention to words.
For that purpose, use bold, underline, or italics.
