| Client | James 5109 | I found that although I should have done more work before submitting my document to EditFast and not add as many new sections as I did along with new material later during the editing phase, EditFast was very well worth the money. My initial submission was hard to work with as I am new to the book writing process, however, Robert Kidd my editor, did an excellent job at critically reviewing my book for logical and clarity issues and also did a good job with the proof read and sentence structure and grammatical issues. Bob did a great job with timely responses to my emails, and was highly accessible by email and by phone during the editing process.
I am very pleased with the amount of high quality work I received for the money. Before I had chosen EditFast, I looked at some other companies that would have cost twice as much or more to edit my book. I will definitely choose EditFast for my next book.
Many Thanks;
Jim

Checking for and re-wording occasional unwieldy long sentences would be helpfull. Work on graphics and figures is not needed as I have already taken care of these issues. I still need to number figures and produce line graphs but I can handle that end of the project. Also, help with elimenating redundant and degenerate paragraphs is needed so as to maximize succintness in this regard.
In general, only small levels of overall text re-editing is likely all that is necessary. The prose need not be perfect in terms of information density, in fact I prefer it not be, since I include numerous specific examples of calculations to make the point that highly relativistic rockets are plausible in principle.
Extreme scenarios require strong backing and so I would prefer that the large numbers of walk-through type computations remain within the text.
I may need help with the bibliography but I think such is simply a matter of mechanics at this point.
Note that there are still some notes to self buried within the text however, I will provide a cleaned up version for you if you decide to work with me.
The book is rather short at only about 230 pages 12 point font. Since the book contains about 30 to 40 pages of figures, the actual number of pages of text is only about 190.
Also note that there are no problem sets included within the book as this book is mainly intended to be a mathematically supported inspirational reference.
Of course, my above stated requirements are not set in stone and I remaind open to suggestions you may have to improve the book. | | Editing Type | | | Project Description | | | Price | $1,988.92 |
