Our client, one of the world's leading financial service providers, is seeking a Technical Writer/Equities Platform Documentation.
Contract Position
Location: New York, NY
Description:
Global Investment Bank is seeking a technical writer for an enterprise wide Global OMS initiative. Candidates should have experience working with Equities Sales/Trading and technology and will be expected to collaborate with development managers, software engineers, product managers and Sales/Trading to create platform documentation, flow diagrams, architectural documents and workflow diagrams. Candidate will also document FIX workflows/routing to provide documentation of client connectivity platform, as well as internal inter-system connectivity via a variety of messaging and middle-ware infrastructure. Candidate will create physical documentation, infrastructure component/interface/API documents, online documentation (Wiki/user-manuals) and reference architecture for use by platform engineering teams.
Required Skills:
Experience with service oriented architectures and front-to-back trading platforms preferred. Vendor systems familiarity (Fidessa, BRASS, FlexTrade, Reuters, 29West, Wombat) is preferred. Knowledge of SDLC process and project management standards a plus
