Science Fiction often delivers poignant messages

Sci-fi and Speculative Fiction are valuable.

Science fiction is a broad genre of fiction that often takes place in the future and usually involves speculations based on current science. It is commonly abbreviated as SF or sci-fi. In organizational or marketing contexts, science fiction can be synonymous with the broader definition of speculative fiction, encompassing creative works incorporating imaginative elements not found in contemporary reality; this includes fantasy, horror, and related genres. Isaac Asimov defined science fiction as "that branch of literature which is concerned with the impact of scientific advance upon human beings." But today, science fiction is concerned with even more than that, it asks "what if." Good science fiction, like all other forms of fiction, is about people. It examines the human condition, perhaps in a whole new landscape, perhaps from an "alien" perspective. But it has to be about people, or readers will have no frame of reference, nothing to relate to. Even if there isn't a human anywhere in your story, you're human, and your readers are human. For the core of your idea, therefore, you draw on the world around you. Then you ask: What if? To best convey this idea with clarity, let me help you make your science fiction story or novel even better!
