I have 38 years of experience teaching writing at the college and high school levels.  This experience has exposed me to writers of varying ability, from low level to gifted, and I have become proficient not only in editing but also making suggestions for improvement through sentence combining, polishing word choices, developing style, creating strong openers and powerful conclusions, and organizing and writing with focus, clarity, and coherence.
