Grammar correction is a process that helps one in correcting for any grammatical errors in his or her work after or during writing. In the process of correcting the grammatical mistakes or errors one should consider checking if the grammatical rules have been put in place to ensure a proper flow of the sentence. One should ensure proper usage of semicolon, punctuation marks, verb, adverbs, prepositions and adjectives in order for him or her make a flow in his or her sentence or statement.
Grammar correction in it self has several values and advantages; this aspect is good in the sense that it makes one become a good writer and editor because it is through the act of grammar correction that a writer will be able to effectively understand his or her work and be able to add whatever that might be missing to make the sentence complete. Any one cannot perform the act of grammar correction because it requires people with high integrity, good communication skills, writing and reading skills. One should also be well conversant in English speaking and the various grammar rules. During the process of grammar correction; one should consider how the sentences, words or statements are formed. The focus should be based on whether singular and plural nouns are properly used and also consider looking at whether the past and present tenses have been properly integrated to ensure the right flow of the sentence.
