Pronoun Case


Rule 9:
When one or more objects are jointly owned, use the possessive on only the last owner named.
Examples:

• These are Paul and Ramon's books. (Because only Ramon is possessive, we know that Paul and Ramon share ownership of the books.)
• Let's go to Grandma and Grandpa's house. (The possessive is formed only on Grandpa, so we know that Grandma and Grandpa share ownership of the house.)
